Research Focus

During his medical studies Dara spent several months at the Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN) and the Hospital for Special Surgery (New York, NY) and it was there he discovered his interest in medical research. After finishing medical school at the Paracelsus Medical University (Salzburg, Austria) he began his residency training at the Friedrichsheim Orthopedic University Hospital in Frankfurt. His current research focuses on the use of low voltage electrical stimulation to stimulate limb regeneration in a rat model.
